ACP's freestanding Arrow Panels have been praised for their quality and speed of installation at Biffa's new waste transfer facility at Weston Super Mare.
McLaren Construction have recently placed the order with ACP Concrete to manufacture and install the precast concrete walls at the MAGNA CCUK development in Telford, Shropshire.
The first steam blowing was successfully conducted recently at Snetterton Biomass Energy Plant, in layman's terms steam blowing is cleaning out the boiler prior to commissioning and is a major milestone on the way to the anticipated full operation of the 44.2KW biomass energy plant in 2017. Working for Burmeister Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) ACP recently completed installation of the precast walls on the site. Since starting on site in September 2015 ACP have manufactured and installed 2700m² of wall panels to the Boiler House, Turbine Hall and Fuel Store. The final phase was the slag store installed in September this year. The construction principal was designed by Ramboll and the full precast structure was manufactured and installed by ACP.
Back in 2012 ACP (Concrete) Ltd supplied Nottinghamshire farmer and businessman, Brian Wells, with 6m high prestressed concrete panels for a surcharged grain store with an innovative grain cooling system at Ruddington. This year Mr Wells is looking to expand the business and another two stores are planned for construction in 2016, taking total storage capacity to 50,000 tonnes. Replicating a successful formula and pleased with the service & quality product from ACP in 2012, Mr Wells has placed another order for 280mm panels with the company.
