The ACP precast concrete wall system is a fast track construction method for warehouses and distribution centres.
•Interlocking prestressed concrete wall panels span between building columns to produce a foundation free, smooth, hard wearing wall in a fraction of the time required by more traditional methods of construction.
•Precast concrete panels are manufactured to suit individual requirements and are available in a range of widths (0.5m, 0.7m, 1m, 1.1m 1.2m, 1.5m) that can be combined to achieve the desired wall height. The flexibility of manufacture enables the precast wall panels to be produced to almost any size to suit the building layout.
•ACP Concrete panels are designed to BS 8110 and are available in three standard thicknesses. In most warehouse applications the lightweight 95mm thick prestressed concrete panels are suitable. For high load applications our engineering department will advise as to the most economical precast option.
•Apertures for windows and doors can be accommodated as required.
•The wall panels are designed to be installed on the inside face of the steel columns or between the webs of the columns as shown above.

This food grade finish eliminates worries about damp ingress or pest infestations within the walls of the warehouse. The smooth surface of the precast concrete panels is suitable for painting with little or no preparation.
Movable - Precast concrete wall panels can be dismantled and relocated to provide alterations to sub divisions and to facilitate subsequent extension to the warehouse.
Durable - The prestressed concrete wall panels are designed to resist accidental impact loads. The density and durability of the precast concrete gives long maintenance free service for the building walls.

Installation is available as part of the complete design & build precast package offered by ACP (Concrete) Ltd. Installation of the concrete panels is quick and simple and is usually carried out using a telehandler rather than more expensive cranage. This cuts installation costs and brings added flexibility to the progress of work on site.
